Chad Coon PA-C
I grew up in Sandpoint, Idaho in a family of all boys. After graduating high school, I moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where I met my wife. We’ve been married for ten years and have four children. My family is my greatest gift, and I enjoy spending my free time being with them. I am passionate about being active and enjoy pushing my limits, physically and mentally, as an ultrarunner.
I started my college career soon after the birth of my first child. I had several people close to me who worked in the medical field and knew from the beginning that that was the path I wanted to take. I attended Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Exercise Science in 2012. I went on to attend the Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies program at Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio. In 2015, I graduated as a board-certified Physician Assistant.
After almost fifteen years of being away, I am looking forward to being back in my home state of Idaho and being near family again. I am excited to fulfill my passion as an orthopedic PA and offer the best quality of care to patients.
